It seems all small businesses that exist in the shadow under the mega institutions whose executives flip flop between public and private chairs, tend to get hurt the most by regulatory and financial changes in those industries, with zero relief while the mega institutionalized leverage public funds to keep themselves afloat. Of course it doesn’t help when Bank of America Meril Lynch use the same accounting strategies as Enron, but at least for smaller financial institutions there is likely more integrity.
